Las Vegas, January 7, 2025 — On the eve of CES 2025 (Consumer Electronics Show), AMD (Advanced Micro Devices, NASDAQ: AMD) announced the launch of new gaming products, aiming to expand its leadership in the fields of desktop, mobile, and handheld gaming, and to provide incredible performance for the most challenging games. AMD has introduced the new Ryzen 9900X3D and 9950X3D series of desktop processors, bringing excellent performance experiences to desktop gamers. In addition, it has also launched the second-generation handheld gaming PC processor, Ryzen Z2, enabling extraordinary performance of AAA games while on the move.

Jack Huynh, Senior Vice President of AMD and General Manager of the Computing and Graphics Business Unit, said, "Gaming has become one of the largest forms of entertainment globally. As the immersion and demands of games continue to increase, having the right software and hardware is crucial for enhancing the gaming experience. Today's launch reaffirms our commitment to providing gamers with the freedom to choose their gaming experience anytime, anywhere, without performance bottlenecks holding them back."

Ryzen 9950X3D and 9900X3D Desktop Processors for Gamers and Content Creators

AMD has completed its outstanding portfolio of desktop processors with the Ryzen 9950X3D and 9900X3D. The Ryzen 9950X3D is a globally leading 16-core processor designed for gamers and content creators, equipped with 16 "Zen 5" cores and an AMD RDNA 2 graphics processing chip. Based on the second-generation AMD 3D V-Cache technology, the new X3D processors have broken through the boundaries of performance and innovation for desktop gamers.

The new generation of X3D processors places the cache at the bottom of the processor CCD, bringing the "Zen 5" processor cores closer to the heat sink. This enables higher clock frequencies at lower temperatures and provides better performance compared to the previous generation products.
